HOW TO USE EDMODO





what is edmodo and what is it used for?

Edmodo is an educational website that takes the ideas of a social network and refines them and makes it appropriate for a classroom. Using Edmodo, students and teachers can reach out to one another and connect by sharing ideas, problems, and helpful tips. A teacher can assign and grade work on Edmodo; students can get help from the entire class on Edmodo. It is a safe environment. There is no bullying or inappropriate content, because the teacher can see everything that is posted on Edmodo. Also parents can join the class to bring a level of transparency that is difficult to achieve without technology. All in all Edmodo is a great companion to just about any class.


if you want to manage an Edmodo account, you can follow the steps below;




this is your edmodo homepage. you can create a class or a group for your students.




while creating your class, name the class, write the grade of your students, choose the subject. finally, your class is ready!


you can share a code with your students ,or send an invitation link by email.





just by clicking the button 'create', you are going to be presented with two options which are assignment or quiz.


as an example of assignment, you can take a look at what is given above. firstly, give a name to the assignment, then explain the instructions regarding the assignment. also, you can add links, attach files and add documents from your liabrary.

then, you should state the due date for the assignment you are about to give to your students.




 what about how to give quizzes? just by clicking the button 'create', you are going to be presented with two options. in order to give a quiz to your students, just click it.





now that you can view the page, you can state the quiz details such as title and instructions regarding the quiz.



now, you are free to create questions for your students. also, you can specify the types of questions such as multiple-choice, open-ended...


also, you should state the due date to the assignment you are about to give.
